Patient Reviews
"I have been going to see Elizabeth Longo for a few years now and have never written a review before but had to reach out and tell people how great she is. She takes her time to actually listen and give you opinions on your skin and solve all your problems. She not only takes great care of me but I have brought my 12 year old son to her when he had a rash on his face and knew exactly what it was and fixed the problem. I highly recommend Elizabeth. She kind, caring and knows her stuff!!"

"I only see Elizabeth Longo PAC!! I had these white flakes on my nose and chin and she quickly identified the problem and prescribed me a topical that worked right away! I have also seen her for xeomen injections, which I was very nervous about getting. She made the procedure very calming and an hour afterwards you would have never known I got these injections because it left no swelling or bruising, which tells me she knows exactly what she is doing. I recommend her services to anyone who's thinking about getting Botox or xeomin for the first time!"

BOTOX & FILLERS
There are many options. Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Volume, Radiesse and Perlane. No two people are alike and not all fillers are created equal. Every individual needs a customized plan depending upon what their individuals goals and concerns.
BOTOX/XEOMIN
It is generally used to treat frown line between the eyebrows, forehead lines, crow’s feet around the eyes, bunny lines on the nose, smokers lines around the mouth and dents in the chin. It can be injected on the lateral side of eyebrows, giving the eyebrow a lift at the lateral corner. Similarly, it can also be used to raise the corners of the mouth.
BOTOX® can also be used for migraine headaches and works very well for excessive sweating of the armpits and hands. The effect of BOTOX® is seen within two weeks and it may last up to 3 to 4 months. If you're thinking about a Botox treatment but worried of an unnatural look--a carefully refined Botox treatment with options tailored for your own freshened-up look is the solution. It’s less expensive and you won’t look overly done. Call to schedule your free consultation with Elizabeth Longo to learn more.
RESTYLANE
Restylane is a stabilized hyaluronic acid used for soft tissue augmentation and smoothing out wrinkles and folds in the smile lines around the mouth, depressions at the angles of mouth, marionette lines, frown lines and depressed scars. Restylane can also be used to contour the lateral tail of the brows and plump lips. Restylane is ideal for tear trough areas to eliminate the appearance of dark circles under the eye. Treatments typically last between 6 to 12 months. Restylane is an injectable filler that is composed of hyaluronic acids used for the injections and filling of wrinkles around the mouth. Restylane was one of the first hyaluronic acid fillers introduced in the US and by 2010 there had been over 11 million treatments worldwide. Restylane is composed of non-animal derived hyaluronic acid and is FDA approved for the injections of parenthesis lines around the mouth, which are known as nasolabial folds. Restylane is the only hyaluronic acid filler that is approved for injection of the lips.
JUVEDERM
Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Ultra Plus are stabilized Hyaluronic acids used for soft tissue augmentation and smoothing out wrinkles and folds. They are FDA approved for improving the smile lines, also known as parenthesis lines or nasolabial folds. The smile lines are the most noticeable signs of aging and Juvederm Ultra has been used for many years successfully in treating this area. The treatment takes a few minutes and the results are immediate. The procedure is practically painless and overall tolerated very well by everyone. The result is a naturally younger and more youthful look.
Juvederm VOLUMA® XC is the only hyaluronic acid filler FDA-approved to instantly add volume to the cheek area, and can last up to two years with optimal treatment. If you're looking to plump cheeks that have sunken over time, this injectable is a quick, convenient approach to skin care when performed by a board certified dermatologist.
CHEMICAL PEELS
Chemical peels are used for acne, acne scarring, pigmentary disorders, sun damage, photo aging, fine line and wrinkles. Chemical peels are classified into superficial, medium and deep chemical peels. Superficial chemical peels include Salicylic acid, Glycolic acid, Jessner’s solution and Trichloroacetic Acid in low concentrations like 10%. Medium depth peels performed by Elizabeth Longo include a combination of either Glycolic or Jessner’s peel followed by Trichloroacetic Acid peel. Salicylic acid chemical peels are ideal for patients with oily skin and ones suffering from acne. It is also helpful in patients with sensitive skin, such as those with rosacea and patients with pigmentation changes on their face. It can be performed every 2 to 4 weeks and it is safe in all skin colors.
FRAXEL LASER
The Fraxel laser is considered one of the most significant advancements in skin rejuvenation since the advent of laser resurfacing. Fraxel is an FDA-approved laser treatment designed to erase skin imperfections so you can enjoy a glowing and smooth complexion. It reduces the appearance of fine lines, smooth wrinkles, scars and fades brown spots of the face, neck, chest hands and legs. Laser resurfacing is effective because with this treatment sun-damaged skin is actually removed by the laser; with healing, new skin replaces the superficial skin layers where most sun damage occurs. The end result is newer, fresher-looking skin that’s free from the signs of sun damage! If you have mild to moderate sun damage or facial scarring (such as from previous acne), Fraxel laser skin resurfacing might be more appropriate for your needs. Because this procedure is a fractional resurfacing treatment, it does not affect the
entire facial area in one treatment (about 20% of the total surface area is affected with each treatment). The deeply penetrating Fraxel laser will result in “remodeling” of the skin’s deeper dermal layer, which will actually smooth irregularly textured, scarred skin. A Fractional Approach-The Fraxel laser was developed as a safer alternative to traditional laser resurfacing and provides significant improvement in skin aging with minimal “down time” after the treatment. Tiny, microscopic spots of laser energy (usually about one million with a full- face treatment) are evenly distributed and are surrounded by untreated skin. Because the treated spots are so tiny, the epidermis remains intact at all times and the only effect of the treatment is mild redness and swelling for two to three days. Because the tiny spots of treated skin are replaced with new skin, this fractional treatment will achieve much of the improvement of traditional laser resurfacing after a series of Fraxel treatments (five full-face Fraxel treatments will treat essentially 100% of the face). Age spots will be largely removed because they are replaced with new epidermis. The tiny spots of Fraxel laser energy penetrate deep enough into the dermis (the deeper layer of skin) to stimulate significant production of new collagen; this new collagen results in smoothing of wrinkles around the eyes (“crows feet”) and the cheeks. When your skin produces its own collagen, the results are long lasting because endogenous collagen persists for years.
LATISSE
Latisse treats the condition of hypotrichosis (having too few eyelashes). Latisse is produced by Allergan (the same company who manufactures Botox) and is used to grow eyelashes; making them longer, thicker and darker.
ULTHERAPY
Ultherapy® is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts and tightens the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the chest. Ultherapy uses safe, time-tested ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin naturally—without surgery or downtime. The Ultherapy® procedure stimulates collagen production by delivering focused ultrasound energy to the skin’s foundational layer typically addressed in cosmetic surgery—without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin.
FULL-SKIN BODY EXAM
You probably know that a full skin exam by a board certified dermatologist is the best way to catch skin cancer early, which is also when it’s most treatable. So don’t put it off. It’s easier than you think. It is not uncommon for an early skin cancer to be dismissed as a stubborn acne bump or even go unnoticed because obvious symptoms are often absent. When left untreated, skin cancers will keep growing and can lead to disfigurement or loss of function. In some cases, skin cancers can metastasize and become life threatening. Fortunately, the majority of skin cancers are curable if treated early on. To prepare for the exam, it’s best to either come to your appointment without foundation or makeup, or to remove it at your appointment. The better the doctor can see your natural skin, the more effective the exam will be. Also, it’s helpful to make note of any areas that stand out to you. Patients are often very good at noticing when there has been a change, so any areas you identify will require special attention. At the appointment we’ll ask some questions about your history of sun exposure, sunburns, etc. and ask if any specific moles or other spots have been worrying you. Then we’ll have you change into an exam gown (or exam shorts for men).
